Biography
Conor King (b.1980) received his BFA in 2003 from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his MFA in 2007 from Pratt Institute. He has been a member of the art faculty at the University of Colorado and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design since 2009. King’s work has been written about in The Denver Post, Denver Westword, and Rocky Mountain News. He has been actively involved in a 3 year artist residency program at RedLine Denver since 2009. His works are included in the public collections of Photo Americas and the University of Colorado. Solo exhibition venues include Galeria de Arte Fotografico, Medellin, Colombia and Pirate: Contemporary Art, Denver, Colorado. Highlights from his group exhibitions include work shown at Jenkins Johnson Gallery, New York, New York, HCC Ybor School, Tampa, Florida, and Vertigo Art Space, Denver, Colorado. King recently served as an artist representative to the RedLine board of directors and currently sits on the Colorado Photographic Arts Center exhibition committee.
